A Sunday Drive – Packards Out Cruising Bring Joy in a Pandemic
On Sunday, May 31, 2020, the Packard Club hosted the Lake Forest Place Procession of Historic Automobiles and drove through the senior residence as a way to break the monotony of isolation for those sheltering in place.
Nearly 50 cars drove through the senior community
Tours: Exciting Driving Experiences
Packard Club members and friends participate in a Spring Tour early in the season, several shorter driving experiences during the summer, and a Fall Tour shortly before the cars are put away for the winter.
Each one provides camaraderie, an opportunity to see interesting places

All day: Geneva Concours d'EleganceAll day: Geneva Concours d'Elegance All day This show, perhaps the highest quality event of its kind in the Chicago metropolitan area, features top antique, classic, and special interest cars from throughout the Midwest. Staged on the streets of downtown Geneva, Illinois, the event features a wide variety of top level cars, in addition to the interesting architecture, fun restaurants, and unique shops of this historic community. Note that cars must be nominated (owners can self nominate) and invited, though the Packard Club Lot is open to all Packards and provides great camaraderie! See Jim Manak for details. |
