On Sunday, May 31, 2020, the Packard Club hosted the Lake Forest Place Procession of Historic Automobiles and drove through the senior residence as a way to break the monotony of isolation for those sheltering in place.

Nearly 50 cars drove through the senior community while hundreds of residents looked out windows, respecting social distancing.
Even in a pandemic, it’s a fine time to get out on the road in a Packard – it brought joy to our drivers as well as the spectators.
The event was organized by Packers of Chicagoland in cooperation with the Lake Forest / Lake Bluff Chamber of Commerce and managements at Lake Forest Place, the Sheridan at Green Oaks, and Lake Forest Hospital.

There is video of the many cars that took place in the bottom right side of this page – take a few minutes to enjoy.
